twice the fun and nightmares too...

27/7/07:
this was a friday, got up pretty late cos slept pretty late the night before studying (trying) =.= it was about 12ish. (was originally planning to watch simpsons movie but that was never organised properly sigh) so caught 1.07 99 bus to curtin to make it to curtin for orientation (actually feeling lazy to go unlike KEEGAN who pulled out lol but i needed to know what kind of things to expect). saw ryan on the bus, and yingying came on as well. then saw all the usual pharmacy people, with some ppl missing but mostly every1 was there i think. orientation took about just over 2 hours (1.30-3.40)

some things to note PHARMACOLOGY IS A BITCH, 4 lectures+ a week? (total 49 lectures omfg). michael garlepp (the head of dept aka "lecture waggerer"!) intro'd the orientation by commenting on some shit about correlation between midsem results and final exam results. we also saw and have our favourite lecturers again andrew crowe, max page, andrew mcwilliam, brett dix, paul murray, yan chen and others for the 5 units we have this semester. and also new lecturer for pharmacology called LISA TEE, who tried to be funny sorta but she wasnt. was sitting next to amy who had this orange lollipop-ish "drug" pen which i drew a copy of hahah cos i was so bored. kristy was meant to meet up too cos she finished her school but it was raining and she couldnt find her way so fuck it.

yeah then went to bus stop, in the rain. and caught 98 back to southlands, and ate nandos dine-in... 4 tenderloins, and rice, and extras of peri-peri chips and side salad, and vanilla coke, total was like $17.85, but it was filling and yum definitely, peri-peri sauce addict for life haha, extra HOT of course otherwise it's not fun at all! tried to write down timetable details during the wait for food. then mum picked me up, and waited in the car for aunty judy (signed tonys card during this time), then went home, and packed tonys present (gave him this pink 18th bear hahaha) =) then went to wantats house for tonys party

this was about 6pm. only wantat, danny, and tony were there at the time, so we watched a bit of a movie called it's a boy girl thing.

then guests came, most i didnt know at all but mostly they were either tonys high school friends (applecross) or asia friends which i did know mostly (like louisa, sophia, nick, and friend jack, aileen), and tony's girlfriend amy's friends from willo in year 12 (eg fiona, and their black friend cant spell her name, and tracy) and other randoms (like jasmine who met him at another party). met some ppl like zi who was doing physio with wantat as well, and tim this 20 year old guy. and basically just drank and chatted, but tony was the only person i could see that yakked, at least he did it in a plastic bag (we were prepared).

saw this other chick with plastic bag too but didnt know if she puked or not. yeah there were ppl outside smoking bongs, and random white guys (eg a guy from eagle boys and his friend who was singing songs from his music player like silverchair old school LOL). yeah tony's gf ordered pizzas from dominoes.

i also had to help jess foo and others buy alcohol (lemon ruski, midori and cruisers), well i went with danny who drove me to the drive thru alcohol shop in southies (even tho liquorland was still open), and ended up costing like $71.

also tony's gf's black friend who louisa kept calling punjab LOL she was "annoying" drunk, well ppl got the impression she was anyway, trying to remember ppls names and giving every1 hi-fives, but later on she got the news that her friend got raped and she "wasn't there for her" so she got emo =S yeah that went on for awhile.

yeah it was a good party

tony eventually sobered up and drove his gf and her friend fiona home. then most others left. and all that was left was me, wantat, mike and tony, who "slept" over, but me and tony felt really cold even with a thin blanket. plus we were sleeping on the floor so it was awkward positioning i guess. but yeah the other 2 were comfortable i guess, with mike saying that aileens jacket that she left over was pretty warming (she also left her camera). but yeah we woke up at about 6.30 and went to wantats moms bathroom to use the bathroom heater, which was at least semiwarm. then went to watch random shit on wantats computer, like french version of spiderman 3 =S. yeah and helped clean up his house and bin stuff. then we all went home (mike caught bus home about 8.25AM, tony drove, i walked). then i showered and slept for a bit till like 12

28/7/07:
yeah sent sms to david bui (who invited me to watch dockers AFL game at subiaco oval against geelong) to not wake me up until like 12 cos i was damn tired. also finally refound my timetable info which my mum hid =S but yeah about 12.40ish david and his bro john came to my house and picked me up (orginally plan was to pick me up at timezone 1.15ish but that might have been a bit late). then arrived near subiaco oval, and we walked to gate 9. and found seats which were labelled wrongly (meant to be 15 and 16, but 15 was labelled 11 =S). i bought some food (chicken treat chicken roll, chips and 600ml drink), but that was $12.85 omfg rip zzz.

then watched the game. 1st quarter dockers were down quite a bit, 2nd quarter recovered LITTLE but that was about the peak of their performance, then 3rd and 4th quarter they just got worst, i guess they probably tired. funny thing was we were sitting next to HEAPS of geelong supporters (even a cheer squad) which kept cheering for geelong of course, but one of the men also shouted/chanted the name/nickname (oi oi oi etc.) of the person who scored the latest goal for geelong, quite funny. and each time they said geelong+clapped, some freo supporter kids would say "suck" haha. anyway took some photos and videos. pretty good first experience at footy match. haha, even david got to touch the AFL ball cos it got near him hehe (kicked by matt pavlich).

anyway finished watching the game, and went outside and saw the members equity ball guy (called melvin), i kept giving him shit because he was messing with little kids, paedophile? lol. anyway we took a photo with him, and apparently if u go to http://www.findmeandwin.com/ and find the photo they took on their website, can win prizes (first one after 8.30pm but i missed that i think, couldnt even find it yet, or before 30th july to win other prizes!!! THEIR SITE IS FUCKING LAGGY SOME PICS DONT LOAD AND THERES TOO MANY PICS ANYWAY SO I COULDNT FIND ATM =S) anyway walked to officeworks to get picked up by john again, so bored so walked around and took random pics, and some randoms wanted me to take a pic of them, and also with david =P also there was a pharmacy around there, and a nice mortar and pestle pic which i took

then john took me to around hay st and i walked to busport and bused home. on the bus there were quite a few ppl wearing dockers gear, assuming they were from the game at subi. then family had pizza (bacon cheese burger again, and also a chicken supreme which cost a bit extra. order now at http://www.pizzahutdirect.com.au/). saw uncle kai (wantats dad) who just came back from hk, and was collecting their clothes which they had borrowed our washing machine to use cos theirs was fucked.

then went to casino, warren picked me up, then we went to pick nish. then on the way to cas saw rolfey, kyle doherty and liam odonell, which rolfey was drunk, and eating chips, and kyle was holding and letting parts of this newspaper drop and gave the tv guide to nish =P

then met angela and tung there, and we started gambling, and it was nish's technically his first time! he got $20 in $5 chips, and used a $5 straight away on the "fruit wheel" without splitting it into $2.50 which is the minimum, and ended up losing it all. while me and warren gained some (just keep betting between watermelon 3-1 and orange 5-1, and alternate between grape 11-1, and higher ones 23-1 and 47-1 maybe if u win some extra to invest, fuck the cherries 1-1) but the 2 in a row of the same fruit fucked me up haha.

also went to play same roulette, betting red and black 1-1 (which doesnt include 0, unlike even and odd). nish also joined club burswood, and he played some poker machines as well, and got hot chocolates with warren. in the end, nish lost about $10, better than losing $20 all at the start though (after withdrawing another $60, but that withdrawal was necessary to recover haha). and i (surprisingly) gained $22.50 (after trading in $50 in chips), mostly from winning the grape in the fruit wheel, and warren gained a bit as well from roulette (he even won a 8-1 bet for betting 4 number set correctly).

also let nish do some footytipping. and i entered the money wheel competition too, 3 entry draws this time!!! not the usual 2 =S but yeah i kept em for later use cos u gotta be there to win the prize if ur name is drawn, and the draws are 1pm, 5pm and 8pm. yep also saw eunus (who i had seen at his work and autosalon, no im not stalking him =S). also gained about 300 points on my club burswood card i think for gambling!!! (need 1000 for birthday wheel tho =S). also watched a bit of mini baccarat, and keno and virtual horse racing, and drank some of their "filtered" water. also saw some other drunk ppl, including some randomly using pickup lines, and then later realising a chick they were hitting on had a bf i think lol

overall experience was GAIN for us, so we decided to bet on the roulette, red and black one more time, with me nish and warren ALL choosing the same colour, after seeing 5 black's in a row, we decided to see the next one, it became a red... so now was the decision (if we win this we stop gambling for the night and buy ourselves a burger from maccas =) ). we chose BLACK and we won it woot! then we cashed it. (EXTRA $5 for all of us).

drove to vic park maccas to get burgers (but there was no dine in, so warren thought that LEACH HWY one had dine in at that time, which was about 2-3 AM). we went to leach hwy, and strangely enough there was no dinein, well at least it was closed, and some drunk/despo white guys were semi-banging on the door, swearing and offering $5 for those who would open that section, we gave up and drove-thru, which took awhile.

then when it finally got to us, we could see 2 previous orders, one was a single cheeseburger $2, and another was cheeseburger with other stuff, cost about $8. then we ordered 3 separate orders, warren got big mac and large fries, me got double beef and bacon burger with large fries, and nish got mcchicken and bigmac and large fries. but when we got to the serving window, they fucked up and gave us that cheeseburger, which warren kept as a bonus, and also another triple cheeseburger meal? =S. and said that they could NOT see the last of our orders... oh well we ended up getting it all anyway, but mixed me and warrens in the same bag =S then dropped nish home, and me, and i started eating, yummm
