today

today. woke up at like 10amish, mum kept rushing me to wake up so she could take me to the post office and then to different pharmacies to drop off my resumes.

but first we went to some neighbours house to pick them up, her name is "pepsi", so that she could drive the car after we arrived at the post office to take it to servicing (the Honda-CRV we have atm has some screeching problem when turning sometimes). so yeah then waited at the post office, until my cousin Jacky (hadn't seen him for awhile) had finished his lunch break so that my mum would be free to take me to the pharmacies.

first walked over to:
Riverton Forum Chemmart - some aussie pharmacy student guy served me and said there was no vacancies for 500 hr positions, but gave him my resume

then went to these 2 pharmacies:
Riverton High Road Chemmart - some azn lady said they were possibly deciding on a 500 hr position this or next month
Rostrata Chemmart - some azn guy said they WERE needing a 500 hr position, and immediately asked for details/resume, and also asked what year I was in... I think this is the most likely choice after all the places I went today, plus it is easily bus accessible.

Then had Yuki for lunch... now we found out that the lunch prices were exactly the same as the dinner prices! what a rip haha i mean they were decent prices for dinner but not for lunch so probably not going there for lunch again. but had Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box C with Spring Rolls, while Mum had Teriyaki Fish, also ordered a Teriyaki Chicken rice for my dad

then went back to the post office, until dad finished his lunch break, which took awhile, called Keegan, who didnt pick up his phone as usual =P then saw my aunty and my cousin Amen, who has her Automatic driving test tomorrow at Willagee 8.45am, good luck to her =P my uncle (her dad) thought her test was actually on Thursday... anyway Keegan called back later and he happened to have finished gymming at Riverton Leisureplex Gym, and were going to have lunch at Hungry Jack's (wtf hahaha).

so yeah met him there at HJs (Youshan was working at the time), along with his 2 Rossy friends (Jon and Ming). then we chatted a bit, about random stuff, amongst those topics were pharmacy and other jobs, Tibia (this online game) and how Jon sold his account etc, and about overseas places and how Jon got stuck at the border between ShenZhen and Hong Kong for nearly 6 hours =S

then went to these remaining pharmacies in order (went to 10 pharmacies, but dropped only 8 resumes):
Canning Vale Market "Chemist" - probably the SMALLEST out of all, didnt even look like a pharmacy, just a small section with shelves, so i was quite hesitant haha =S and was combined with a newsagent/lotto thing. the indian guy who came up to serve me was right, they needed DEVELOPMENT, and would possibly need a 500 hr person later on, but i dont think i would like to work there. in fact i didnt know there was even a pharmacy there until mum told me. she also told me that it used to be a post office combo there, but the former owner of the Livingston Post Office moved it to Livingston Shopping Centre.

Canning Vale Guardian Pharmacy - next to Amy's house. I already thought that Amy would've taken a spot there if she wanted, since its so close to her house, but I'd thought I'd give it a try anyways. result was just taking my resume.

Livingston Soul Pattinson Pharmacy - served by someone who went to my high school I think, who asked for the pharmacist who said there was too many 500 hrs students who had asked and were not taking any more, then immediately went back to her work, and didn't bother to ask about taking my resume =S

Bull Creek Shopping Centre Chemmart Pharmacy - the one where Amy works at. went in and had a small chat with her first, then went to ask the azn pharmacist who was talking to some ppl at the cosmetics section. and no vacancies atm

Parry Avenue Friendlies Chemist - took my resume, mum went to buy vegies at this time

Southlands Soul Pattinson Pharmacy - weren't even "doing" 500 hrs students at the moment, "try again next year" says the lady, and didn't ask for my resume either... me and mum took a toilet break at this stop

Apsley Road Willetton Pharmacy 777 - where Keegan works. went in there, it was quite empty, and a man was awaiting me. asked him, and he said that they might be considering, and even offered to forward my resume to all south of the river Pharmacy 777s, and even asked about transport etc. very helpful. even shook my hand and said he was Paul.

yeah that was all the pharmacies I went to, then went home, did usual stuff, but got put off because it was a bit cold, plus body still aching =S, took small naps... etc, had biscuits (including Shapes Chicken Crimpy flavour, that we bought from Bunbury Coles for ASIA camp awhile back).

then watched news + ate an apple. headline of the day was the Philip Walsham case (about a group of 3 ppl accused of pushing that guy down footbridge over the freeway at Stirling station about 9 years ago, and that they had been jailed for 2 years, but their conviction was quashed due to speculative circumstances, and was released recently). the case keeps reappearing on news, and today they said that the jurors of the original jury that put the guys to jail had contacted the Walsham family, angry that their contribution had been overturned. they also interviewed one of the ppl who went to jail's girlfriend, and how she stood by all 3 men all the way thru this court battle. yeah the battle continues... and other news was like about Scientology (how they refrain from psychiatry, and this might have caused a murder in Sydney) and Schapelle Corby (the accused drug smuggler in jail in Indonesia at the moment) spening her 30th birthday in jail (entering when she was 27, her sisters visited her with cake), and that she has one final appeal against her 20 year jail sentence.

dinner. had chicken+potato+onion mix, rice and lettuce. later chat on msn sumore and had watermelon to eat... duno what's up tomorrow yet... currently listening to Muse (Black Holes and Revelations album). should start studying for Pharm Chem soon... but results released tomorrow supposedly (i reckon maybe even later tonight)!!!

um yeah update: later i just uploaded some deviantart pictures (including pictures I "made" by scanning my self and objects on a scanner =P, and some "blurry" but nice pictures I took while I was in Europe... only a few, lots more to put up later... on http://secfan.deviantart.com/)

then results were released near 12AM! andre was the first one to tell me, and he passed his units too. earlier than the 5pm time they said... its always like that... anyway I managed to get 2 credits for my 2 units this semester... at least I passed =D also notified wan tat by calling his HOME PHONE, and he managed to pass everything too (also made me call his dad in hong kong to call him back, because he had no long distance phone credit)... anyway time to celebrate!!! nites...
