ok 2nd post... to cover the past 2 days:

7/7/07:
well the day seems to be a lucky one, but I didn't end up rocking up to the casino (why should I? =P, the number 8 is a better one for the chinese ppl). Live Earth was on all day i think on 92.9 (and 94.5 as well), I think it is definitely good to have such worldwide joint concerts which aim to raise environmental awareness (even though in the news it was pointed out that the artists/musicians themselves are amongst the major polluters and wasters of resources, at least they did dedicate time to perform in such an event).

well woke up at like 10 something, and had lunch at some chinese restaurant in canning vale markets, had bbq pork rice and noodles etc., then went to have a look at the newly refurbished canning vale markets... omg havent been there for awhile, it looks much better now. my paros told me that this new development has been there for about half a year already, so obviously I haven't bothered to rock up there during that time =P

after that we went to Harvey Norman in Carousel (normally I would go and sit on those nice comfy massage chairs (ahh so relaxing, sat there for about 15 minutes at least last time with Wan Tat and Danny) but I didn't today because every1 was hogging them =( ), the main aim of going there though was to check out Sony DVD players (my dad said his Commonwealth Bank credit card account allowed him to redeem different prizes using a "point collection system". But ideally we wanted a DVD player AND recorder combo, for which we couldn't really find a cheap one. also checked out sd cards, and other technology. and also saw Madhu for the first time in ages, he was hell busy attending customers, but he even recognised my paros (my paros said he had a "good eye" which was well true). so yeah we said hi, and I asked him if he could help with DVD players, but he said he was mainly in the computer department ("that's what computer scholarship got me into"), but he did recommend that Sony and LG DVD players were the best.

after HN we went to The Good Guys, to look for more similar stuff, but not much luck, while I was looking at the hifis, some of which looked better than mine and had better features, sigh.

anyway after that we went to Car Stereo City, to check out Cassette/CD player/radio combo systems for the car (because according to mum the CD player was a bit dodge), and it turned out they did have such a combo, but the CD player had to be put under a seat or in the boot (unlike our current setup which has all 3 up the front), and that would cost $599 including installation.

afterwards we went home, I GOT BORED (how surprising) but i went to sleep??? for like 2 hours wth.

woke up to watch some news, had some dinner (congee and some cheese bread), made and uploaded this video on youtube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=_csh8yxlDlU , it is a tribute to the 2005 London Bombings, with background music by Eskimo Joe - London Bombs, seeing as it was a very nice soft song, and wasnt gonna be released as a single, the video was made with Windows Movie Maker and Total Video Converter, haha this video better not get removed due to copyright infringements, which occured with 2 of my other YouTube videos: a studio audio dub of Jay-Z and Linkin Park's Numb/Encore video, and the song This Is My Year by Se7en featuring Fabolous).

then later got dropped off in the city... and went timezone to use my free gold card game, then lisa came and we went to metros...

yeah had drinks and met randoms etc. as usual, but didn't really know ppl other than wilson and other pharmacy ppl (like ngoc anh, kevin, annie and bf anton, muzza and malcolm etc.) and sophia and her sis and chanelle, but later saw Yang, Raymond, Leigh, ceazer and nouvan (a supposedly first year engineering guy who was meant to be in 2nd year, and has to redo the exam like belz hahahaha)? and grabbed some drinks out of Yang's car (ceazer was a funny drunk hahahaha).

then went back in metros for a bit more, and later saw other rossmoyne ppl (including alvin, josh's piano buddy back in the day who said he hasn't seen josh for ages, zhao and asia anthony), and also josh haddad (he is my neighbour, he normally goes to freo but tried to come to metro city last time but couldnt get in (apparently too drunk lol)), matt ho from a year above me from willo... and that was my ride home. in matts car along with josh, rex from asia, and fred from rossy... yeah that was about it

8/7/07:
woke up at 9:30ish... was meant to go baddy at UWA at 11am-2pm, wan tat and belz already went sifffffff haha so caught bus by myself... first stop busport... but the bus to UWA was about another 20 minutes away, so I decided to do something "smart" and buy stuff from the vending machine. the first one was a ice cream one, i thought it said it already had 25c in it... but it turned out that it "eats money"... it ate my $1 :@:@... then i went to the machine next door, and bought a red rock deli chips (honey soy chicken flavour)... but turned out that it didn't fall down (it was stuck... arrrgh, i remember salvaging elizabeth from pharmacy's chips this way last year at curtin by buying another packet, which would push the first packet out, but this time I had to salvage my own chips... sigh)

then bused to UWA, was meant to go to recreation centre, funnily enough I recognised where it was even though I only been there once, and that was nearly 2 years ago, and it wasnt even for baddy, but it was for stupid UMAT test! yeah so hired a baddy racquet for $2.20, and played baddy with wan tat, belz, scarlet, arnina, jane, kae and her friend, another vincent, matt lim and ali lim brothers... but also shot some basketball hoops on the way... my arms so dead after this... haha every1 else so pro

after baddy went to city in ali's car, and parked on william street, when deciding where to have lunch, belz said SAIGON, and every1 else seemingly agreed, but when we all walked in, we all walked out again =S (matt and others decided to have Subway), so ended up with only me, tatz, belz, kae and her friend having saigon... which was probably not a good idea (even though I had 25% off discount voucher) cos we were hungry (food took ages, as they served the entrees and main meals at the same time, i reckon it took about half an hour, was probably like 45 minutes last time we had saigon during CHINESE NEW YEAR DAY) i had combination beef ho fun soup which cost $8, tasted pretty good, while the others all had bigger rice dishes which filled them up, and we all shared "stuffed chicken wings" which tasted yum mmm, and then later kae went to toilet, and when she came back she told us that she "went to the wrong toilet" LOL

later the rest of the group came back, but we all split up again, they all went home except me tatz and belz, and went timezoning as usual for a bit, to play initial d and ddr, saw bui and timtam, then had a bbt (watermelon smoothie with chocolate sago, pretty fresh tasting+yum), then went to play snooker, me and belz teamed up against wantat, played 2 rounds (we won first round, tatz won 2nd), kristy and becky came and dropped by at pot black cos becky had to go to toilet, then they left.

then the tatz and belz went home, while I stayed in northbridge to have dinner with paros, so waited at timezone, and played some Mario Kart, finally finished the 4 cups, then saw Dim and me and him played DDR (again), on the crappy supernova machine which the left side didnt work properly, then went to tea cafe for dinner (3 hot pot dishes: beef brisket, tofu chicken, and some vegies), met a few family friends, then went home...
