blogging debut

ok guess i will start blogging =P

inspiration: many reasons, but keegan's quote (roughly) "you go everywhere, i thought you would be the type of person to have a blog". well anyway i have started (this REAL blog, not crappy ones like the MSN one hahahah) and ok i AM quite bored, after all if i'm not out of home there is little to do at home... it is quite lonely living a single child life i admit... sighs

well should be eating lunch very soon, but i will sum up what happened yesterday (Friday 6/7/2007):
-in the afternoon had lunch at Southlands, then watched Fantastic Four 2 with Revin and his friend Matt (who does cartography at Curtin = drawing maps), surprisingly the movie was BETTER than the first (which I also watched with Revin, along with Cheng and Chee Chun like 2 years ago). It was a good catch up.

Oh yeah me and Rev also played a game of Time Crisis 4 after that, which we died less than half way through the first stage, but still fun (he died first hahaha)

-at night went with Wan Tat, Tony, Leon, Michael, Sophia and Raizha to Makan^2 (a Malaysian "cafe" at Victoria Park, got a 25% discount there up to $15 ^^), the food was pretty good, definitely wouldn't mind going there again (from my perspective... a person who rarely eats Malaysian food)... but getting there was a bit of trouble (squeezed 5 people in Tony's 4 seater car), saw Jason Fong there as well. First had supposedly HOT teh tarik, but it came out barely warm, quite sweet tho, while some of the others had cold teh tarik. The food I had was Nasi Beriani (including a pappadum) with beef rendang and fish curry, and some other crepe thingy with cheese and onion... yum, also tried others dishes. My dish came first, it was barely warm as well, and Sophia's dish, some kueh teow, it was quite hot (in flavour) that she couldn't finish it ("couldn't even taste the noodles any more"). Then as we left, Sophia nearly "forgot" her beloved alcohol =P

Afterwards believe it or not we squeezed SEVEN ppl in Tony's car, to get to Leon's house to play poker (he said it was a 3 minute drive, but it was probably nearly 10 minutes to get there), the way we squeezed was putting Mike in the boot =P but he found it ok as he was playing Pokemon on DS. It was pretty bad as it got to a stage that he kept swirving the car, that was crazy...

yeah then we played poker at his house, quite clean+new, and met Leon's brother Sean/Shaun??? Harry Potter (the 2nd movie) was on the TV, and Mike, along with playing poker AND pokemon, decided to recite the lines in movie (he said he saw it only 2 days ago in preparation for the upcoming 5th movie), but yeah Sophia was the first to lose (tipsy as usual after one smirnoff) haha and she wanted to UNFOLD after folding =S btu yeah I ended up losing as well, starting with every1 putting in $5, and I ended up with $3.50, while the others gained some, especially Leon and his brother (possibly some conspiracy going on), and Raizha also did well (according to her it was her first time at poker).

Yeah then we went home, squeezing 6 in the car again. All in all it was a good night!!!

p.s. im using this blogger cos it actually has the word "blog" in its name, unlike other blogs e.g. msn spaces or xanga or the friendster or myspace one etc. etc.
