as the title of today's blog says. woke up at like 12 noon, body quite sore (right arm and both legs etc.) from yesterday's activities, so not much mood to do anything. actually I was awoken earlier by mum, who said to give the lawnmowers money if they come, and to shut the garage door. But I never heard them xD yeah not much else, so just watched youtube videos, chatted, ate stuff like THE BAG OF RED ROCK DELI CHIPS from the vending machine yesterday, and cheese buns, and drank milk, and took small naps.
tomorrow might go off to different pharmacies to drop off my resume, hopefully the rostrata chemmart will accept me, as that seems to be the closest one, and at least I know how to bus there (after looking at bus routes and where to get off and stuff, it seems all I have to do is catch the 879).
talked to some UWA ppl and seemed like they passed well (originally thinking they would fail something)... curtin results come out in 2 days... now I'm scared of my own Pharmacy results as a Pharmacy friend recently got a supplementary exam offered to him, which is better than failing totally... which could be the case for me =S
at 6pm ate an apple and watched news (yes they mentioned about the recent influenza scare, which killed three children under 5 years of age. there was criticism that the health department didn't release the information fast enough on that day, I think it was last friday? and Jim McGinty had to intervene for them to release information at 5.15pm, rather than 6.15pm when most major news broadcasts would have already passed, and doctors/GPs would have gone home)
later while having dinner (veggies and chicken and beans and tomato mix dish, and a separate pure lettuce dish, while my paros had congee as well) me and paros watched some other stuff on the Chinese satellite TVBJ channel, about a Chinese student who studied at University of Queensland (I think), and how she failed most of her units, so she was scared that she wouldn't be allowed to stay in Australia, so she went (with a friend's advice) to a company which "claimed" that they could get her permanent residence, and all she had to do was complete this "study course". obviously it was a hoax, and she got ripped, and things went worse, now trying to ask for help from MARA (some government migration department), but with not much help as she had no details about the "hoax company". she did ask TVBJ for help, and they had secret cameras going into that company, which were shown on air, and hopefully this would be enough evidence. yeah lots more to that story but the moral is that if you encountered a problem like this, seek advice from university counsellors, or check the company had proper licenses and so on (beware some of those hoax companies even use OTHER COMPANY's license numbers). yeah just watch out. then ate watermelon... ok peace out until tomorrow!!!
(p.s. noticed that the post times are like American time or something... prob change it later if possible)
(p.p.s. other blogs i looked at recently (they both also have photos with me in them last time i checked):
http://www.xanga.com/wantat/ <----- Wan Tat's blog, Wan Tat is my younger (by 1 year and a 3 months-ish) cousin on my dad's side, who does Physiotherapy at Curtin, but he is much taller than me =S
http://www.cynthiafoo.com/ <----- Cynthia Foo's blog, Cynthia is a fourth year Pharmacy student whom I met at the WAPSA O-Show earlier in the year =) her blog is like so pro, packed with pictures and detailed events and all, heard she went to Eskimo Joe's concert a month or 2 ago as well, pretty good for someone doing a tough course like Pharmacy)
