ouch

sat 18/8/07:
today paros dropped me off at the ct, then bummed around with lisa and lisa (chew and nguyen), at myer, looked at stuff in perfume section, nguyen bought some perfume gift for her cousin (they were both going to her cousin nam's party that night)

then went to eat (mr samurai was closed, so went to KFC), bought a dinner for two, plus large popcorn chicken, was served by a FOB lady (guess what her names was lol, yes lisa), i think she sounded korean, anyway her accent was really strong, and she was a trainee, and took ages to figure out what exactly was on the dinner for two pack (she kept looking at the menu on top of her). then it turned out that gravy ran out, and she offered to swap it to salad, haiz (but later on i saw this guy bring a whole stack of gravy out, and i swapped it back, technically not allowed to swap stuff u get back from customers? she just put it in back the fridge). also she didnt give me sauce for my popcorn chicken which i had to ask for later

then went around myer again, saw louisa working at the perfume section, chatter with her, she said she worked at pearl room recently (cathy jamie and her sister natasha also works there). also nguyen bought a card. and yeah looked at more stuff. chew also put some eyeliner on (nguyen didnt want to do it as she already had some on). haha also took pic of the "fake models"

then went to have a chiller drink at gloria jeans, the tim tam original one, tasted ok at first haha then became a bit bland =/

then went orbit and played a few games of photo hunt

then rushed to bus stop and made 5.37 bus (amy + eddy already at my house changing as she just finished work and had no other place to get changed). dee was on there, hadnt seen her since she came back to australia. so yeah chatted and stuff. then got home

then yeah got ready, wearing suit, waxed hair, put some zegna cologne on etc. (later pictures reveal that amy and eddy were romancing in my bathroom zzz)

then arrived at parmelia hilton for wapsa ball!!! good fun it was as photos will show, we sat at table 11. me, natasha (my long lost sister with the same last name ??? =S), yongling, kevin and his girlfriend vivien, kenny, amy and eddy. yeah met all different ppl including sulin, and lak my long lost kumon/chinese school buddy who i hadnt seen for nearly 10 years??? watched the ball video, oh man that was hilarious, had that james guy pretending to be fat and asking for prescription meds, had parody of shannon noll + ben cousins, and monty being jeff farmer, and videos they took when they talked into our class and showed ppl some pictures and asked ppl who certain ppl were (eg worsfold, mcpharlin, and lecturers and wapsa ppl). had seafood entree, chicken main course and some sweet ass dessert. took pics with wolfie, crowe, page, and sunderland. the lecturers actually sang a song, with page trumpeting to twinkle little star tune, then sang some variation of it. danced to music, took group photos too (including a huge ass 2nd year one, i think MOST OF US WERE IN THERE =D =D =D).

yeah all in all had a good time, with a conclusion with american pie song. then pretty much waited outside, kenny didnt look drunk at all but in fact he drank the remaining red wine on our table, and passed out in car? and vomited at home LOL. and eddy wanted to have supper somewhere, and amy wanted to have coke, but then amy had to go home or she would get into trouble, also took mish home. was thinking of going to metros but cbf (yongling and natasha went i think but only for short while). and nish didnt reply until 5am when he finished! (apparently his phone was dodge =S)

sun 19/8/07:
um yeah terrible, was a lump in my foot (previously it was just a hard spot of the skin), but since yesterday it got bigger, and started to hurt, and couldnt really sleep. so today went to doctor, and they said no appointment available until 4.10! plus being sunday there was $55 fee of which $43 could be claimed back they said.

so yeah then went to singapore hawkers place in collins road, and ate some pork rice and noodles and stuff. then went home for a bit. tried to rest but couldnt really

then went to doctors again. waiting outside, mr bean movie (the old one was on). then went inside, and doctor took scalpels and stuff out and cut my wound !!! shiiit hurt bad, bleeding, and he tried to squeeze it out, but yeah it hurt, i think he took out the lesion out first, then later to drain more out, he put local anaesthetic OUCH, then he started cutting and removing more, at this point couldnt feel much pain at least, and he even stitched it up (never had stitched before), i felt him poke needle and string thru my skin (this was my right heel), but yeah didnt feel pain. then he asked me if i had gout before, fuckkk (usual gout spot = right big toe joint), but this was just a lump on my heel, fuckkk. anyway he originally didnt know what it was, and now suspects to be a uric acid crystal. but yeah he told me to get a blood test, and have my stitches removed on next monday, and gave me a penicillin prescription. the removal of the lesion cost $40!!! (also he used sterilising pads and spirits, other washing stuff etc =S)

but yeah didnt feel good for rest of night, pain got back again as anesthetic wore off. went to metcalfe road to eat dinner, $9 special or something, on sunday, had salad bar (2 plates) fish and chips, and tiramisu dessert (actually worth ur money here - they have TAB and pub and other stuff there too).

mon 20/8/07:
yeah woke up 10ish this morn, went to doctors to get blood test, which took a short time, yeah the woman was saying my chinese name, and she walked off, "expecting" me to follow. at least she didnt have to poke 2 or more holes in my skin, unlike last time once when some noobie couldnt find my blood vessel.

then went uni, and bummed around lounge, then main cafe, 1st years were studying for hbio test (they only get one attempt, while last year we had 2!!!). got meself a large salad to eat and spring valley drink. (dee was asking me if i was at udub, but i said i'd go next week when i have break, plus i couldnt walk properly!!!)

then went 1-2 lecture, but guess what, anna tien showed up and said it was cancelled!!! benson was sick apparently (which is funny cos apparently i had this weird ass dream that benson or yanchen etc. had died =S)

yeah then bummed around lounge again till 2. then had lec with wolfie, then yan chen lec

(during this time we had discussed this joke:
3 ppl decided to rent a place to stay, the manager of that place decided to charge $30 (so $10 per person). but then the manager felt guilty, and decided to give them $5 back, which he did so by giving the bellboy the money to pass to them. but the bellboy thought it was difficult to split $5 into 3, so he kept $2 to himself, and gave $3 back to them (so $1 each). so technically now, they only paid $9 each for the room. 9 times 3 = 27, plus the $2 the bellboy kept, = $29... so wheres the missing dollar???)

yeah 4-5 break bummed around lounge AGAIN. showed ppl my pics of ball etc.

then had andrew mcwilliam for chemo lec, he skipped a lot, back to his oldschool style of notes haizzz. design john also crashed our lec again, he was looking up bakery places on the internet.

then went home...
